Housed in a former farmhouse, the restaurant is the domain of chef Paco Pérez, who is committed to revolutionizing Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. The menu features two dish sizes, all designed around a "sea and mountains" theme, and two tasting menus: Marroire'24 La mar d'Amunt, dedicated to maritime resources, including seaweed, combined with ingredients from the Galicia region; the second menu, Memoria, Territorio y Cultura, focuses more on the cuisine of the Empordà region. The Miramar also has a store selling fresh bread, pastries, jams and even garum.

A 30-minute drive inland from the Greco-Roman ruins of Empuries, fourth-generation owners twins Màrius and Joan Jordà dedicate their combined talents to celebrating ultra-local ingredients. Two tasting menus, one called Sea and Mountain and the other Local Universe, invite you to discover the specialties of the Alt Empordà, and the wines that go with them. "100% of our ingredients come from the region (vegetables, eggs, herbs, locally caught fish, etc.). We produce our own preserves, recycle our waste and use recycled glassware," say the owners.
