activities
local culture
Discover the market of Carpentras every Friday morning. For lovers of local crafts, on Thursday and Sunday mornings, visit the famous market of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, one of the most animated in Provence.
Oenology
The property Homanie Avignon is located near many wine estates. Visits of vineyards and tastings of white, red and rosé wines are possible in the surroundings: Côtes-du-Rhône, Mont Ventoux, Châteauneuf-du-Pape...
Bike/Mountain bike
Discover the treasures of Mont Ventoux on foot or by electric bike. Follow the path of the crests which offers an exceptional panoramic view from the Dentelles de Montmirail to the Cévennes.
Tennis
During your stay, take advantage of the tennis court located on the property to learn, improve your game or simply have fun by exchanging a few balls. A coach is available upon request.
The surrounding area
Located 25 minutes from the Castle, discover the Old City of Avignon. Admire the City Hall from the Place de l'Horloge, or take the rue Favart to discover the Palais du Roure, a private mansion that today houses a museum of regional history. In July, on the occasion of its famous Festival, the city puts on its most beautiful assets and comes alive at every street corner, becoming a real open-air show.
The property is also located at the gateway to the Luberon. Lose yourself in the narrow streets of Roussillon, Lourmarin, Gordes or Lacoste, villages that have kept their authenticity and their traditional stone houses.
A detour to the Ochre Trail, or the Colorado of Provence, is worth it! Marvel at the bright red colors and the unusual landscapes shaped by two centuries of ochre mining and by time.
