Just 1h30 from Paris, the Perche regional nature park covers 1,900km2 and features forests, unspoilt villages, plains and hills as far as the eye can see.
Situated on a hill overlooking the Perche natural park is Bellême, capital of the Bellême seigneury in the 10th century. Heritage lovers will also be delighted by Mortagne-au-Perche , with its Gothic church, grand gateway, town hall and private mansions.
Less than 50 minutes from the estate, discover the city of Chartres and its famous cathedral with its colorful stained glass windows. Further away, visit Orleans, the former royal city of Joan of Arc and its cathedral that looks like Notre-Dame de Paris.
