Aix-en-Provence
A few minutes walk from the villa, you will arrive on a small beach that is still a secret: farniente, paddle, snorkelling or kayaking awaits you in the marine reserve of Carry-le-Rouet with its incredible sea bed. Then go to the port for a boat ride to the creeks of Cassis.
Carry-le-Rouet is also worth a visit in winter: if you come in February, you will discover the frenzy of the "Oursinades", the famous sea urchin festival attracting thousands of visitors every year. Opening of the festivities on the esplanade of the port, arrival of the fisherman by boat, sale and tasting of sea urchins and other sea products on the quay... This typical festival has been celebrated every year for over 60 years!
In the surrounding area, the region also offers a multitude of possible activities: golf, hiking or biking in the Luberon or in the creeks, wine tasting around Aix-en-Provence, stroll on the Old Port of Marseille... Children and adults will be delighted.
