Cadaqués
Cadaqués is a beautiful, secluded fishing village located on the Cap de Creus peninsula on Spain's famous Costa Brava (near the French border). Known for its narrow cobblestone streets with charming whitewashed houses overlooking incredible views of the Mediterranean Sea, the village is dominated by a 17th century church with a stunning baroque altar.
Since the 1950s, the village has been an important cultural meeting point, where artists such as Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray and Picasso have visited. Attracted by its beautiful light and amazing landscapes, Salvador Dalí, an emblematic figure of the time, even set up his legendary studio in Port Lligat, very close to the property.
